Good coffee, quick and pleasant service despite it being very busy, took the time to speak to my little boy and give him a marshmellow that he's still speaking about. Nice little cakes too. Would easily visit again. View all feedback.
What Herminio Schoen doesn't like about Lost Freight:
Cute cafe, coffee average selection of hot food available and cakes. Toilets also available and out door seating. It’s a good central spot to park and take one of the many walks from here. View all feedback.
The 2 guys who run this café really go out of their way to ensure the customer is taken care of. The coffee served in their special cups was great and the quality of the food is very nice indeed. The café has been converted from a shipping container and it does work well. We really enjoyed this little break halfway down the Mt Wellington
Congratulations to the young people that made this happen. For so many years there's been so much talk about reinvigorating the Springs, agonising over vision statements and architects' designs, and these young entrepreneurs just did it - bought a shipping container, got a permit from the council and set up a quaint spot for walkers and tourists to get coffee and a bite to eat. The coffee is excellent and the ambience is fantastic.
Called in for a hot chocolate and banana bread to warm us up and was not disappointed. Worth a stop on the way up or down or both.
Called in here on our way back down Mount Wellington for a hot drink to help us warm up. Coffee and hot chocolate tasted great. They had a small selection of biscuits (I had the one shaped like a star) which were delicious.
Popped into this epic container cafe.. And WOW! What a great cup of coffee. The two young handsome blokes there really made it special and what a coffee!! I'll be back to see you again boys ????
