Great location, 2 minutes walk from skibus variation of food seems to be done in a way that is most efficient for them (if busy, you can ask things at the reception, get a table for the whole week) kindness (although this is more an Austrian thing I feel) not everyone wants to speak German
Rooms are small for two people Not much closer space Seperate WC Small bathroom with shower (temperature can change a lot while showering) bed , small but ok, but only thin curtains on windows, always light in the room, some heavy curtains are really required Tv, very small safe bit useless Wifi slow and unstable sauna complex, a seperate nude part, a family part with small pool. Infrared and family saunas do not work half the time. Small bar restaurant: dinner evening and breakfast ok for price paid, enough variation. The staff can push to sell wine and if only drinking water you get less service ski cellars a bit rudimental... needs improvement location near tux bus 15 minutes drive to gletsjer
About the room: One of the most important things bed is very comfortable and warm, you will probably sleep well here. The rooms are also very quiet and with good luck you will get a small balcony overlooking the glacier. The rooms are clean and tidy, but very close. There is practically nothing else except the shampoos in the bathroom. A kettle would have been very nice and a small fridge. About services: This is a rather controversial part. To start with the restaurant, breakfast is versatile enough and the price-performance ratio of lunch and dinner is good enough, safe. But the arrangements when you get there were more than confusing. You will never know where to sit because some of the tables are reserved for those who reserve half board. But even if these tables are marked, they do not want you to sit wherever you are. So wait until someone comes to you and talks to your table. In the basement of the hotel there is a fairly large spa area. You can choose between “clothes on the family sauna” or the naked version (if you dare). We tried the earlier version and it was nice and clean, but even if the “rules” are written down, there is no easy way to use. For example, there are only normal showers in there so ready to go back to your room to wash your hair. And remember to ask a bathtub and slippers from the reception, they do not offer them automatically. About the service: At first we would have rated the service very friendly, but that really does not apply to all in the staff. Many of them do not speak English at all and they even seem irritated to help you, but there are few very friendly and friendly gentlemen in the staff. All in all, this place has all the elements to earn mre stars when they put a little more effort on it. And think about the customer experience first.
I visited the hotel during the summer and I could not believe how cheap it was. My wife and I got a beautiful room with the view at the Hintertux glacier. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They have an excellent restaurant with a wide selection of local specialties. Bus transportation in the Tux valley free of charge. I recommend it.
