Hotel Alpenhof - Hintertux

One evening we visited the Hintertux glacier. The view from the hotel is breathtaking. The spa facilities are great, but a shame that they are not open in the morning, especially if you only visit for one night. We found the staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was amazing, but dinner was not so good. 49€ per person for the fixed menu is ridiculous as the food was not so special. Also the bedrooms feel pretty dated going easy on the jaw! Walls and ceilings take it too far!

I've eaten seven nights. 50% of the time the food was good, but the rest it is a gamble as they mix ingredients in the wrong way. Very expensive drinks also almost 5 euros for a pinch of beer

A superb family run hotel, excellent in every way. We can thoroughly recommend Hotel Alpenhof for its atmosphere, location, food, service and comfort.

We fancied a change from our hotel food so came here for dinner, so glad we did as the food was amazing!! Simple food but with a twist. Service was great too. You should definitely go for dinner here if you are staying elsewhere.
