The table for 6 was crammed on a real table for 4 and seemed a terrible way to spend lunch. Server was taking care of too many tables to give excellent service, but she did her best (considering).

I also enjoyed the rich fish served with rice pilaf and street corn. Finally, the Boston cream cake was a perfect finish! Thank you!

Everything was great especially the food, until the close to the end when 2-3 waiters sprayed chemicals and vacuumed 3-4 tables all around us which created lots... read more Everything was great especially the food, until the close to the end when 2-3 waiters sprayed chemicals and vacuumed 3-4 tables all around us which created lots dust and lots of noise and a chemical smell and was very disturbing for 10-15 minutes. We are allergic to chemicals and dust, which one of the waiters doing this operation knew and he should have waited. But they were making a racket and interrupted our conversations. When we had asked him to stop before he refused, so we did not want to make a scene as this was a special family occasion. We come here often, so this was very disappointing. They never do this in Dedham and other places we go as we love Legal and have been a patron for years. We hope you can alert your staff that their behavior is disrespectful, even for people without allergies. My husband had to leave the table until they finished while he was still eating.

However, the chowder remains good and consistent. It's still a decent spot for appetizers.
