I had been wanting to visit this restaurant, but the negative reviews held me back. Nevertheless, we decided to give it a try. I started with a bright ale, which was good and I would rate it a solid 3.5. My wife ordered a prosecco, but unfortunately, it arrived flat. We wanted...

I read the reviews and was unsure about trying this restaurant, but I was pleasantly surprised. We had a party of 11, and the staff provided excellent service, consistently refilling our glasses...
We tried the beer sampler, which usually features four varieties for about $10, but we managed to sample five different beers for just $12, and it was a lot of fun! While the food may not be outstanding, if you're in the mood for some beer and want to unwind, their typical burgers and sandwiches hit the spot. I ordered an Asian-style dish for $12, which was enjoyable. The tranquil location adds to the overall experience. I can definitely see myself returning here a few times on Saturdays during the warmer months. It’s far superior to Marina Bay!
Nice atmosphere, not to loud but active vibe. good selection of beers and ales. Been there twice in last few weeks and food not as consistent as in the past. At first visit the apps (duck spring rolls and pork belly steamed buns) were very tasty, but my rare burger came out well done. To be fair the manager came out and apologized and got me another, but that was again done medium at best. My wife described the seasoning on her salmon as only okay. Went back with a big group of over 20 a few days ago. The service was attentive, and all the food came out at the same time and hot. Most seemed to enjoy their fare. I went with the steak and ale pie this time, since that would be hard to overcook. Nice flaky crust and tender meat, but by about halfway through the saltiness overwhelmed the other flavors. Great place to meet friends but not a destination specifically for food
