Hinesburgh Public House

Eating is always on site, menu is small but has something for everyone, and the staff is always friendly. If you have been disappointed by this institution in the past, now is the time to try again. In the last two years, both the quality and uniqueness of the menu items have improved continuously. The new fish and chip dish is incredibly delicious and so are all the other new items I have tried. There were definitely problems with some of my orders, but the management will be in a way that few restaurants are today. The public house has a constant customer in me.

We had an excellent dinner here at the last night of my trip. There was a really good selection of local beer and a variety of items on the menu. I chose the pork chops that were delicious and the presentation was great. The chocolate cake was also very tasty and definitely replaceable. Very recommended if you are in the area and looking for a great farm to table experience.

The best fish I've ever had in my life! My wife and I have finished our meals! So delicious I was literally filled when we left, the drinks were delicious and the waiter, Owen was an excellent server, we tipped him so well!

The public house has been my favorite for years. When I lived in the Middlebury area, I would keep an eye on the public house for special occasions, just because the ride has made a bit more. Now that I live in Hinesburg (amidst a pandemic), they have become a regular visit to me for board pickup. I love the fact that I can order online and pick up front. This process has so far been very efficient for me. The $7 to-go designs and to-go cocktails (variable prices) are a big bargain. If you have a 32 ounce of beer or cocktail, quality fries, and a quality burger just sets you back maybe $20-25 at Burger Night, that's a bunch of deal! One of my other favorite menus is the Crispy Brussels Sprouts. I remember when this was just an occasional special. Now that they are a regular menu item, I would like to add them to my order once in a while, especially when I first introduce someone to the Public House. I believe the public house is currently open for indoor seating, but I am not ready for it, but I will rely on it for quality excursion as long as we are both here in the city, and look forward to the day I can bring a group of friends for a great meal.

Lovely evening at Hinesburgh Public House. The crispy Brussels were great and a serving size for sharing. Loved the fish tacos and roasted root risotto special. Service was very good. Reasonably priced.
