Never used the app for ordering but it actually is super fast and Handy. Wewere served immediately and food was excellent. Only issue is we never received service for any questions on menu or even advicefor preference or how to add items or even how to select certain items. With 4 of us we figured out our own system andeverything was quality but I really would have given 25% tip if better service or even attention....so if need no service thanthis is definitely 5 stars

I spent two years in Japan and this restaurant is the most authentic ramen shop I?ve had in the U.S. The broth is so flavorful that it?s almost impossible to leave any of it left in the bowl! I also had theirJapanese pudding, which tasted a lot like flan, and it was also very delicious!! Definitely recommend trying if you are visitingthe Big Island! I was here for 4 weeks and ate at this restaurant 3 times!!

I initially... read more We stopped by here when we got off the plane (on our way to volcano national park). I was pleasantly surprised at how vegetarian friendly they were! I initially thought they got my order wrong when I saw the mock meat. The broth was miso based anddelicious! The noodles were perfect. I'm really happy to have stumbled on this place after looking for a nearby cafe that hada long wait. I was in Honolulu last week and this place has so much better ramen!

Customer service can be questionable but it never took away from the quality of the food. Every itemwas around $10-15 and the portions are great. Although we only came because the restaurant across had long wait times, I wouldhave wished this was the first option all along

You can choose to have the vegan ramen with either tofu/seaweed broth or add curry for extra flavor. The vegan spam option is surprisingly unique. I decided to add extra veggies to my bowl for an additional $4, bringing the total price to around $18. While it may be a bit pricier than other ramen spots in town, the atmosphere at Testsumen is pleasant. Keep in mind that it tends to get quite busy after 6 pm, so plan your visit accordingly.
