Eccolo is a small, family-run restaurant located in a suburban shopping center that has received mixed reviews from patrons. While some customers have praised the authentic Italian food with modern twists, fantastic wait staff, and the best pizza they have ever had, others have experienced disappointment with unavailable menu items, cold and tasteless food, and unresponsive management. Despite the varying experiences, many customers have highlighted the friendly atmosphere, delicious specials, and consistent quality of food and service as reasons to return. Overall, Eccolo seems to be a local gem with potential for improvement in certain areas.

What amazes is the consistency of the food including the quality and how it is cooked. It is the opposite of mass produced hybrid italian food, e.g. the Pizza Ecolo or the Lamb might be simple examples but they let you enjoy distinguish taste sensations. It just tastes like real food not just some reheated Microwave dishes or some fancy but unidentifiable  mishmash. View all feedback.

What Bruce Haley dislikes about Eccolo:
So we booked a table for my 11 year olds birthday,a family dinner for 5.This is a local restaurant but tonight they took their eye off the ball after a great welcome things went down hill, our meals arrived with significant time differences our waitress forgot drink orders , nobody came to clear our table and not a chance of being offered desert which was the important part for my daughter. When you first walk into the place it is nice and inviting. Woodfire oven buring and you are greeted quickly and taken to a table. After that it did take is about 15 minutes to get a waiters attention for a drink. I ordered the pizza diavola and the pork scallopini, with the house red. The pizza was the best of the 3. The scallopini was quite average and the house wine was very rough. Altogether it was an average experience unfortunately.

Some of the best Italian food north of the river, authentic with modern twists. Fantastic wait staff and alot of staff members are actually Italiano which is awesome. Prices are quite high but as to be expected with such high quality of food with fresh produce. Deffs will be back

Ordered 2 takeaway pizzas and we got them home they looked like they were made on a heated pitta bread. Both were lacking topping and the Capricciosa had hard boiled egg, **** all anchovies and the prosciutto was layered across the pizza after being removed from the oven. When we then added cheese and reheated the entire package all became edible but I will never go back. Price was very expensive also.

This place never disappoints. Home made pasta- always yummy. The wood fired pizza is amazing. Great antipasto plates to share. Wine by the bottle or cafe. Great in winter or summer
