The menu is quite exten... read more We had dinner at the hotel bar and lounge. The hotel is very old style, the barman still wears a tie, but so were most of the customers. The menu is quite extensive and varied: work out what you want and place your order at the bar when you are ready. The food is good, service is friendly and helpful and prices very reasonable. As a bonus you get a view of Loch Linnhe while you eat, which is better than most of the High Street eateries.

On Saturday noticed it said they were closed on Saturday so phoned up... read more Booked a table for 6 o’clock on a Saturday, booking was confirmed everything seemed okay. On Saturday noticed it said they were closed on Saturday so phoned up and were told they were closed.. we had not been informed and our special occasion was ruined as couldn’t get booked in anywhere else on such short notice. Very disappointed.

There was a good choice on the menu... read more Came recently for a Sunday roast as per advertisement on Facebook page, however when we arrived there was no roast on offer. There was a good choice on the menu however. Having seen pictures of the macaroni on the Facebook page, I decided to order that. What came from the kitchen was not the same as the Facebook photos, no where near. I ate it, but did not enjoy it. My friend had lasagna which was dripping in grease on arrival. We sent it back but it came back more or less the same. I’d say it was heated up. We were the only people in the restaurant so would have expected a higher standard. Some items were removed from the bill thankfully however still left disappointed and hungry.
