What GoPlaces648973 doesn't like about Dornie:
I had the fish and chips. They were good. Service was very good. Atmosphere was good. My ratings are against a regular USA restaurant. I do not take into count that we are in the middle of nowhere. View all feedback. What MacksterM likes about Dornie:
Was recommended to eat here whilst staying in Dornie. The place has transformed from the awful reviews online. 3 had surf and turf, I had the seafood platter (look at the picture). It was the best platter I have ever eaten, and I just made it, it was fresh, plentiful and tasty. This was the best quality meal and service in our 7 night tour of Scotland. View all feedback.

read moreThe Dornie Hotel restaurant, recently under new management, has garnered mixed reviews, showcasing its journey of transformation. While some guests praised the fresh local seafood and delightful service, others expressed disappointment over cleanliness and overpriced menus, with limited seafood options. The warm, inviting atmosphere, combined with comfortable accommodations and personalized breakfasts, offers a cozy experience, albeit with some noted inconsistencies. The combination of beautiful views and proximity to Eilean Donan Castle enhances its charm. Despite ongoing improvements, some elements require attention, making it a restaurant worth exploring, but with tempered expectations regarding certain aspects of the experience.
