We stopped on the road without knowing it and I highly recommend it!!! The service is adorable, father son serving and mother in the kitchen? In any case it was great!!!!

Carron restaurant is a great place for a pit stop. The food is good and the owners are very hospitable and helpful. The toasties were delicious and the sticky toffee pudding was the best I've ever had. Wanting to sample a local brewery, our server suggested the Golden Cow from Strathcarron Brewery, a delightful choice. To complete our meal, I tried the restaurant's whisky, Slàinte, and it was excellent. The staff were friendly and provided fantastic service. We also enjoyed solving the picture puzzles on the placemats. Our lunch at Carron Restaurant was a highlight of our Scotland road trip.

It was a lovely, peaceful place with fantastic hosts and delicious food. Thank you for providing the perfect spot for us!
