The toasties were delicious and the sticky toffee pudding was the best I've ever had. Wanting to sample a local brewery, our server suggested the Golden Cow from Strathcarron Brewery, a delightful choice. To complete our meal, I tried the restaurant's whisky, Slàinte, and it was excellent. The staff were friendly and provided fantastic service. We also enjoyed solving the picture puzzles on the placemats. Our lunch at Carron Restaurant was a highlight of our Scotland road trip.

I especially e... read more During our stay in Strathcarron, we dined at this restaurant just a 2-minute drive away. The food was expertly prepared and absolutely delicious. I especially enjoyed the local venison. The owner and his wife were very friendly, and it was delightful to sit by the fire after dinner. It was a wonderful evening, made even more special as many other local establishments close during the winter season.
