The older woman serving and preparing the food appeared as though she had been digging in dirt with her hands. Her fingernails were dirty, which was quite unappetizing. The food was delicious, but we found it to be a bit pricey. The portion of juice was small for the price. It was difficult not to be distracted by her filthy nails while eating, as hygiene standards should be upheld in a kitchen. The restaurant should... View all feedback.
I had an amazing meal at this restaurant! The service might be a bit slow due to a small staff, but if you're looking for fast food, this isn't the place for you. This restaurant has the most welcoming atmosphere in the Scottish Highlands.
The restaurant offers delicious food from a small, regularly changing menu. We dined with family who live in the area and enjoyed a pleasant evening. Despite it being the end of the season, the atmosphere was quiet, and the restaurant was able to accommodate walk-in guests. It is definitely worth a visit, and we will likely return in the future.
Lovely place to visit for a quick bite to eat. Home made, delicious soup, bread and cakes. We would definitely visit again as they have a lovely craft shop.
Wow just back from a 1000 mile trip to the “Scottish tree hugging championships “ blessed to stay at Ariundle centre explore life with no TV, radio limited Wi Fi a true detoxification from “normal” life. Kate the owner is a living legend her work ethic energy was inspirational… the food was sumptuous special mention of plumb crumble must be made. The staff Sonia, Aaron especially Fraser could not have been more helpful. The walls around the centre are trulymagical especially the “fairy” walk where we seen a out of this world bright light mistaking it for a fairy .. in reality a moth catchers lamp. The price was very reasonable and we hope to return next year. Thank you again Kate staff you will always have a place in our
Given the reviews this place appears to be a bit hit or miss. We were happy to give it a go and we’re glad we did as we really enjoyed the experience. Service was a little slow but the boys serving were great and worked hard. To be fair it was busy 21 in when we were eating including a couple of walk ups. The food was hearty and tasty and reasonably priced. So overall it was a hit for us.
