The comments to this restaurant say that there is a vegan blt, but they did not know what I was talking about when I went to the restaurant. we got the Portabello sandwich with cheese, that was $14. we had to eat outside even if it was eggy because it smells like sulphur in the inside. the staff was very friendly.
Besides the articles mentioned in the main entry, the last bite offers some vegan deserts. the vegan blt was a very tasty grilled sandwich made with oil instead of the usual butter - a bit like a grilled cheese sandwich. a great vegan rendition that doesn't sneak. another article that was not mentioned above was vegan milk for the coffee. I didn't try the coffee or the milk. a charming and beautiful place in the inner. not a full service restaurant; a job at the theke.
Stopped in this roadside cafe after lunchtime, ordered a juice combo to go, but they were out of kale. Substituted spinach. After waiting 10 minutes, the 2nd guy behind the counter asked for my order. I told him I had ordered juice to go. He said it would be awhile because they are busy. Fewer than 1/2 the tables were occupied, so I just left.
Nobody wearing masks, even chef. Sign up stating vaxes are needed but was never asked for proof. “Coffee” was from a packet and essentially lukewarm water for $5. Hard pass. Last bite indeed
