This is one of my favorite places to eat in Hickory! I've never had a bad experience at The Station. The food is consistently fantastic! I usually snap photos of the appetizers, but then I forget to take pictures of my entrée because it looks so delicious—and it always tastes amazing! The beer selection is great, too! What Davashia W doesn't like about Olde Hickory Station:
I had a wonderful experience—the atmosphere was fantastic. I ordered the lamb chops and requested them to be cooked medium well, but they arrived medium rare. I sent them back, but the second attempt was still not cooked right. On a positive note, my server, Phillip, was exceptional! View all feedback.
The restaurant offers an impressive variety of their own brewed beers. The brisket was delicious, especially when paired with the vinegar BBQ sauce. The atmosphere is nice, featuring a cool historic setting along with a market that sells desserts and other gifts. There's also outdoor seating available.

What more can I add that hasn’t already been said? I visited for the first time on a Sunday morning, arriving around 7:30. It wasn't crowded, but there were still quite a few people ahead of me. I really loved the atmosphere, the concept, and the location. The coffee was great, and the Appalachian Benedict was nearly perfect. And those cheddar grits? Wow. That was just one of the four Benedicts I tried, and I can’t wait to sample the others!
Our Weekly Brunch Go-To spot that never disappoints. Our favs include but are not limited to: West Coast Eggs Benedict, Piedmont Eggs Benedict, Hickory Hot Chicken Waffles. Bottle Shop Picks: Bellini, Old Fashioned Root Beer, Old Fashioned Lemonade, Old Fashioned Cola Cheese: Ashe County Cheese Sample you will be glad you did!
Delicious Food and Beer Lovers’ Paradise. The cauliflower fritters with herbed butter are fantastic. The barkeep suggested Siracha sauce with them and yes that’s great. Pizza has fabulous flavors and fresh ingredients. Daily brunches.
