This Dunkin' Donuts offers round-the-clock convenience with generally fresh, tasty donuts and well-prepared coffee. Service quality varies widely depending on the shift: afternoon and night staff tend to be friendly, efficient, and attentive, while mornings and some evening times can suffer from unprofessionalism, slow service, and communication challenges. Despite a clean, welcoming environment maintained by long-standing employees, the cramped layout causes crowding, raising health concerns. Occasional order mishaps and inconsistent customer care have left some patrons frustrated, indicating a need for better staff training and management to ensure a consistently positive experience.
Staff on the morning shift can never get an order right and are generally unprofessional, they take 2 minutes to get your order, I usualy go there at 11am to get anything from a light snack to an iced latte, never, have I ever gotten my order right, especially with the iced latte, their concept of less ice is to fill the cup with ice halfway through. The staff in the aftenoon (after 2pm) is great, fast, efficient, they are always nice and get the orders right.
This place is always spotless. The same ladies have been working there for years and keep the place immaculate. They're always friendly, remember your order and make your coffee just the way you like it.
The location is clean and well-organized, but occasionally it takes them a bit longer to prepare a single order, even when it's not busy. Aside from that, I've always been satisfied with my orders.
I recently had a disappointing experience at this Dunkin' location, which has unfortunately become the worst one I've visited. The customer service was horrible. I arrived around 7:30 PM and noticed the delivery truck outside, which made me think I’d be getting some fresh donuts. However, when I went inside, there was only one customer, and the donut display was empty. I understood this because the truck was outside, but what happened next was unacceptable. Another customer came in and went straight to the pick-up area. Instead of instructing him to wait in line, the employee allowed him to jump ahead of me and complete his order. Then, when she turned to me to take my order, I mentioned I would be paying with a card, but she had a bad attitude and said the card machine wasn't working, even though it had just worked for the guy in front of me. When I told her I wanted a dozen donuts, she replied rudely, "Oh, we don’t have any." I was taken aback since I had just seen the truck outside moments before. She explained they needed to make the donuts, which I found shocking. In all my 24 years of visiting this particular Dunkin’, I've never encountered a situation where they made the donuts on-site. It felt like she didn’t want to put in the effort to bring the fresh donuts inside. In the past, I've asked for specific flavors, and the friendly staff there would always go and fetch them for me. But this new hire clearly lacked the skills for proper customer service. It would have been better if she had simply informed me that the truck had just arrived and it would take about 15 minutes to stock the shelves. That way, I could decide whether I wanted to wait or not. Honestly, I don’t think I’ll be returning. Krispy Kreme offers tastier donuts anyway. Dunkin' needs to be more careful about their hiring practices because customer service is the face of the company. I’ve spent 20 years working in customer service, and it’s essential to love what you do. I understand that working in Hialeah can be challenging, but you still need to do your job well, regardless of the circumstances.
