Was Martha S at Chino 1 a mag?
The service was great and very friendly. The food was typical buffet food. The sushi was okay I liked some more than others. Besides from that it was a good experience. View all feedback.
What Renee R dislikes about Chino 1:
I ordered takeout for lunch. Unfortunately, the staff were not very friendly. The sushi chef was talking on the phone the entire time while preparing the sushi in front of customers, which was quite off-putting. I'm sure there were unsightly particles flying around! The food was downright disgusting and cold. View all feedback.
Hubby and I used to like (not love this place, but since we've discovered other buffets, we hadn't been back here in a long time. Well, last night, we went to check out Minato Japanese Buffet in Pembroke Pines but upon walking in (and quickly walking out...EW! we decided to give the old China Buffet haunt another go. OMG! The place has changed so much, and not in a good way. First off, the food quality has diminished so much that the claims literally made me throw up. I'm not kidding. I had to run to the bathroom where I threw up til I was bone dry. They had this horrid rotten odor and taste that, under the pressure of my hunger I failed to notice til it was too late. I called for the manager and told him about it, but all he said was they'd been serving them all day and I was the only one who'd gotten sick. I find that very hard to believe. My meal effectively came to a screeching halt at that point, and despite my visible illness from their food, the manager didn't even try to compensate me. I had to basically pay to get sick. Beyond that, before the dreaded clams, I tried a few other things and NOT ONE OF THEM tasted like it hadn't been sitting there since the dawn of time. The tastes were way off, the quantity and variation were utterly depleted, and the quality was utter trash. The dessert bar was the worst I've ever seen; dry dense little cakes you could use as weapons, bland fruit, hard jello. And all that for a price tag of nearly $30.I will NEVER go back to this place, and if you value your life and your money, steer clear.
Called for crabs, drove here, crabs were the size so small had to be illegal plus they smelled of ammonia. Food was not hot, will refer to food inspector. Stay away.
How is this place still open? The kitchen is filthy, and most food in the buffet is leftovers that are I don't know how old
