The service was appalling charged me £3 twice for the sauces. The staff are impatient and rude first time visiting and last. Went in around 5pm on a Friday, only one other customer in, not sure if they 'd just opened but it was freezing cold same temperature as outside). Had a bit of a wait as the fish was cooked to order. I ordered 2 large cod and 1 chips £18.60 or something), the cod was very good but the chips could have done with 5 mins longer or hotter cooking temp and were a bit stodgy. Worth going for the fish and hopefully the chips were just because the fryers hadn 't fully heated up??? This is not the first time dining in here. We love this fish bar we always make a bee line for it if we are in the vicinity. The service is very good, the atmosphere is also very good and clean. The fish and chips are the best around and we can only ask that the team keep doing what they are doing as we are very happy to keep coming . First class. The food arrived quickly, and it looked and smelled fantastic. Oh my goodness, the taste was out of this world! The chips were "proper chips" — crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The fish was perfectly crispy, golden, and juicy, and the mushy peas were simply divine, the best I've ever had. They were sweet, not too heavy, and absolutely perfect. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meals, and I also sampled the squid with curry sauce, which was excellent as well! A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made our visit such a highlight of the day. We will definitely be back!

This restaurant is clean and beautifully decorated. The staff is friendly and efficient, providing great service. The food quality is excellent, and the prices are very reasonable. What more could you ask for? I'm looking forward to trying one of their gluten-free days soon!
Have eaten here a good few times and the food is awesome. The haddock is always amazing with lovely light batter and so fresh it falls apart. Nice crisp chips too. The place is always ultra clean which is really reassuring.
