Went in around 5pm on a Friday, only one other customer in, not sure if they 'd just opened but it was freezing cold same temperature as outside). Had a bit of a wait as the fish was cooked to order. I ordered 2 large cod and 1 chips £18.60 or something), the cod was very good but the chips could have done with 5 mins longer or hotter cooking temp and were a bit stodgy. Worth going for the fish and hopefully the chips were just because the fryers hadn 't fully heated up??? This is not the first time dining in here. We love this fish bar we always make a bee line for it if we are in the vicinity. The service is very good, the atmosphere is also very good and clean. The fish and chips are the best around and we can only ask that the team keep doing what they are doing as we are very happy to keep coming . First class.
