The chips were "proper chips" — crispy on the ou... read more The food arrived quickly, and it looked and smelled fantastic. Oh my goodness, the taste was out of this world! The chips were "proper chips" — crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The fish was perfectly crispy, golden, and juicy, and the mushy peas were simply divine, the best I've ever had. They were sweet, not too heavy, and absolutely perfect. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meals, and I also sampled the squid with curry sauce, which was excellent as well! A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made our visit such a highlight of the day. We will definitely be back!

The batter was light and crisp and everything was so delicious. Swift service too We’d love to re-visit but live in Scotland ! Recommended.

Had a bit of... read more Went in around 5pm on a Friday, only one other customer in, not sure if they 'd just opened but it was freezing cold same temperature as outside). Had a bit of a wait as the fish was cooked to order. I ordered 2 large cod and 1 chips £18.60 or something), the cod was very good but the chips could have done with 5 mins longer or hotter cooking temp and were a bit stodgy. Worth going for the fish and hopefully the chips were just because the fryers hadn 't fully heated up???
