First time there yesterday, and I will definitely go back. We got roast beef sliced from the deli and fresh Italian sausage, totally the best. Also got the cheese ravioli and the garlic lovers sauce, and all I have to say is WOW. I felt like I was eating at a 5 star restaurant at my kitchen table. I grew up on salameat made by the original Louie P&R in the early 1970s. Recently I had a chance to visit Herrin, so I went to Louie P&R to get salameat. Not only did the clerk get my order wrong and overcharged me for the sausage, but the salameat itself was pitifully thin and pale and about half the size of the original. Quaint, small town deli with great Italian food cooking essentials for the best Italian meals. The folks are friendly and there to help you get what you need; whether it's beef, pork or fixings, with a friendly smile.
Friendly staff, quick service, good food, imported groceries. Kid-friendliness: I have deli sandwiches with my sons at Louie’s P&R on Friday evenings. They’re great!
Wife and stopped in for lunch and it was fantastic. We also bought some cibatta rolls that are incredibly good. Nice selection of Italian food stuff, a deli in the back. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Definitely don't hesitate to stop in.

Went here for the first time this past weekend, and did not disappoint!! It’s so hard finding GOOD italian beef but this is the best italian beef sandwich i’ve ever had! Cannoli’s were good as well. I love that they have kind of everything in there you could want. Their pepperoncini’s are so good! Will be back a ton
