The answer was, Customers only. My husband came over shortly after to explain that it was urgent. Nevertheless, all I got was, €1 or go somewhere else. In a situation like this, I would have expected a little bit of humanity. Instead, I was left with a bitter impression—not because of the €1, but because of the lack of consideration for a heavily pregnant woman in an obvious emergency.
