You get alot of bread and very little of anything else for a big price! I don't mind paying for a good sandwich as long as their not stingy with the ingredients!

Fries were very over-cooked and came home to the dog. I ordered a grilled chicken salad for me. The menu shows a bowl full of salad and says says the salad is made of spring mix greens. I received a clear to-go box (we weredining in) with a handful of iceberg lettuce and less than 10 small squares of unseasoned chicken. So, I received a side saladwith a little chicken on it for $9. When I questioned it, I wasn't treated very well. No apology and no solution were offered,but 2 excuses that that is the only lettuce they have and the menu hasn't been updated in a while. I sat to eat it, but couldnot stomach the idea that it was supposed to be okay that I ordered a grilled chicken salad on spring mix greens for $9 &received a little pile of iceberg with a few small pieces of chicken on top. It wasn't ok. Our money is precious and so is ourtime. We chose to give this restaurant a try for the first time and it was also our last. It is very upsetting to pay someone totreat you like a bother, so I asked for the money back on the salad. When I was given a full refund and refused to take it allbecause my son was eating the pitiful sandwich, I felt like a bother again because someone had to wait while my money wasrefunded. I've worked many years in retail and hospitality and I have always striven to make others feel appreciated. It's notthat hard to do.

We placed our order over the phone for two sandwiches and some loaded fries. I initially wanted a healthy choice bowl but was a little bit sad when we were toldthat the online menu does not match what is made in store. No big deal, we were really hungry and just excited to eat. It wasready very quickly and I went inside to pay. That is where things went south for me. The eating area was empty but looked like adecent place to dine in. I went up for the register and was waiting for the cashier. I noticed that the floors, walls, sinks,stoves and literally everything behind the counter looked very dirty! There was food, grease and grime everywhere I looked up atthe ceiling and it was also filthy. I am not super picky at these types of places but I know for sure there has to be a roachinfestation with a kitchen that dirty! The condition of the place made me worried about the cleanliness of the food preparation.I paid anyways and went back to my car and looked at google reviews, I saw two other posts mentioning roaches. So although I didnot see one, I was not surprised others did. We didn?t even taste the food and tossed it in the trash. Won?t be returning tothis place unless it goes through some major cleaning!

I don?t have a problem with waiting, but I was kept on hold for 20 minutes without anyone even checking on me. I could hear everythinghappening. The ?supposed? owner called me to let me know that no restaurant takes phone orders as a priority. I informed himthat a business should not advertise a service they could not render. I also let him know that it?s no excuse for bad customerservice. FYI, every restaurant in Hernando that have I placed an order with has been excellent: Mr. Chen?s Kitchen, BrickOven, Buon Cibo, Yellowfin, Mi Pueblo. It?s not every restaurant. It?s a Steak Escape problem. There was no abusive language,just an unprofessional staff that simply cannot say that they?re ?too busy? to take orders currently, keep people on the phoneforever, and don?t apologize for their abusive treatment of decent people simply trying to patronize a business full ofpatronizing people. I encourage the owner to read the other low score reviews. These people have similar stories to mine. Goodtry though
