Prices... read more A very idyllic place to stop for a break on a hike. Delicious food (various cakes, small dishes, daily specials), cold drinks, and very friendly service. Prices are absolutely reasonable. Unfortunately, it's only open on weekends, otherwise we'd come by more often So: don't just walk past, stop!

Today, we were there with 8 adults and 6 children after a walk in the woods to take a breather and order coffee and cake. We were greeted with a roll of the eye... read more Today, we were there with 8 adults and 6 children after a walk in the woods to take a breather and order coffee and cake. We were greeted with a roll of the eyes and a quiet I 'm alone today. Two other tables were occupied besides us. After a 15-minute wait, the lady came to one of our tables, took the orders of only two adults, and then turned around to go in. When I asked why they weren 't taking all the orders so we could drink together, she said she couldn 't write down that much. She brings the first few and takes the orders one by one. She couldn 't have made her disapproval more clear and put us off. We then canceled our order, which she dismissed with a sarcastic Have a nice day and a shrug. Thanks for nothing. You can thank the nice waitress for the fact that the restaurant missed out on a good amount of money in tips.

Starting point for hikes in Kesbern or Iserlohn Teichstrasse. Werner is looking forward to seeing you.
