As per review headline, please avoid this place. Staff too idle to serve. Food microwaved to death. While walking in the early evening we found this tiny cafe a great place for a hot cocoa w/Bailey's. While drinking our cocoa we couldn't help but see the delicious deserts displayed behind a glass case. That was all it took - we ended up with 2 deserts that were both delicious, the apple strudel
Small, limited menu, high quality products at fair prices with good service. The compete menu is on a chalkboard outside the store. If you want something on that menu enter and enjoy a quiet pleasant comfortable charming atmosphere. If you want something that is not on the chalkboard, just keep on walking. They do not accept Visa or MC or any other credit cards.
We just stopped to have something hot to drink on a Saturday evening during Heidelberger Herbst weekend. Well, there were 2-3 tables occupied, and I agree with other opinions up here, that it took quite long until someone came and took our order: a big cup of milk coffee and a cup of green tea for around 7.40€ seem a bit overpriced in my opinion.
In this caffe you get a great milk cream and also the cake selection is ok, but could be bigger.
