We loved our dinner at the Heid‘s! The reservation via website was super easy and worked well. Super delicious food and awesome meat quality. We‘re definitely coming back for another nice evening PS: The pictures show the Tapas variation and the with grilled...vegetables.

Made an online reservation worked like a charm (reservation at for same day). My Wife and I went there and it was absolutely gorgeous. Drinks were amazing, service quick and kind. Pieces according to the quality of the food. Nice music with...a DJ that walks around apparently checking what sort of guests are in and then playing the according music. If you go there you won’t be disappointed. A special evening with awesome food! Love this place.

We visited Heid's for a birthday dinner. Topic was steak. Perfectly prepared steaks, tasty add-ons creamy veggies, grilled veggies and steakhouse or sweet potato fries, everything to the point. Not cheap but worth every cent. Any time again.

The Heid ́s is not located in the centre of Heidelberg, but is easily accessible by foot or by car (parking plate). A reservation is recommended, just if you want to sit outside. We went spontaneously there and were lucky that there was another table free. After a little longer waiting period, we were assigned to this. In addition to the entrance area there is also the counter behind which the chefs prepare the food. That's how it goes. Overall, the restaurant is harmoniously furnished, not fully stuffed with decoration, clean and in the rear area also quieter than in the front. The table was covered with beautiful plaid fabric napkins in which the cutlery was bundled and was held together with a banderole. There was also a lonely candle, but it was not lit (at least at our table). The menu offers many varieties of steaks, salads, fish dishes (from 20,80€ , wood oven pizza (from 8,80€ , some appetizers (from 12€ , children's dishes, pasta and desserts (from 5,20€). Vegetarians do not necessarily come to their expense. The lady from the service was very nice, but we had to wait very long until we could even order drinks. Also the second beverage order went to length after we had posted our empty glasses at the table edge, the service saw this and asked if everything was okay...Also we had to fight for attention to be paid. There were house-baked bread from the wood stove, still warm, wonderfully crispy. “Here you can dip some bread with oil and salt.” We would have liked to have done if we had got oil and salt (as we could see at the neighboring table). The man chose U.S. high rib (400g, 29,80€ on Mediterranean grilled vegetables with cream carrots, pepper sauce, cajunbutter and steakhouse sponges (with these supplements all meat dishes are served, there are still selections of potato purees or Spanish potatoes. The pepper sauce I found very tasty, really good peppery, the man was not so enthusiastic. The vegetable supplements were fine (men and vegetables... . The pommes were, however, very sweetly seasoned and could have been a bit browner. It was nice, however, that they were served separately and so could not pass through what kept the subtle crispy. I chose pink roasted bavette on salads (14,50€). The meat was perfectly fried and incredibly delicate. The salad consisted mainly of red and green leaf salads, a strawberry, two chicorée leaves, some cress and a cherry tomato. But twice as much Vinaigrette as it would have been necessary for the portion. Why I got the garlic dip, I don't know, he didn't fit the meat, and there was no bread for salad. Conclusion: More appearance than being? I don't want to say that either. However, the restaurant already conveys the impression of something “hearted”, which is quite important. However, it should also be noted that the service meets the impression. The prices are not without, for good quality you would like to pay, but then the supplements should also vote if the meat is already delivered in the top condition.

Nice food the steak was great just miss some sauces they don't give any also don't talk to much o give any advise of the food what they serve in my humble opinion I suggest take more contact with the guest to they feel comfortable to ask you questions of the food but we'll the times of today time is money so easy fast and next also they don't got so many varieties of soft drinks In the menu so don't spec to much the price was ok for the quality of the steaks 106euros to w steaks one bottle of water and one ice tea and feel fried potatoes.
