Guiso in Healdsburg offers excellent food and local wines, but some diners found the portions small for the price. The service was friendly, and the atmosphere cozy but loud. While some felt hindered by the small space, others appreciated the family-friendly environment and high-quality food. The unique dishes, such as the Pupusas and Paella, were standout favorites. Chef Carlos made dining a joy, despite some service lapses. Overall, Guiso provides a wonderful dining experience in downtown Healdsburg, though some visitors found it a bit pricey compared to the portion sizes.
We were sitting outside. Service was a good and gracious young happy and attentive woman. The food was delicious.
The meal was delicious to entice from the appetizers. Nothing was amiss and everyone was friendly and welcoming. A wonderful meal would go back.
This little jewel is a culinary delight. We tried the maize remover and it was so delicious. We shared a salad, shrimps and steak and got ice cream for dessert. Wonderful service. I love this place.
Chef Carlos has really created a unique culinary experience. His talents in the kitchen are world class. The aromas are so interesting and well balanced. I would highly recommend the Puposas. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The proposals were on site. I'm so grateful that I have stunned this absolute jewel of a family restaurant. DEFINITELY take your opportunity to dine here! You won't regret it!
Fantastic food and ambiance. Friendly wait staff and clearly a very family-oriented ownership/staff. Would absolutely return!
