Great service and wonderful food. Don’t expect run of the mill Pakistani food as is the norm in Leeds. This is proper Indian cuisine with a modern twist. Spectacular battered king prawns to start for me and the most delicious little sweet potato bhaji parcels for my companion. For main the best mutton curry this side of Goa beautiful saffron rice with a delicious chickpea dish for my companion accompanied by the lightest naan. Carrot fudge desert to die for. This is 5 star eating at normal rest
The food was amazing and waiters and everyone who worked there were lovely. However, we did book a table for 20:30 and when we got there at 20:24 there were at least 6 other groups of people waiting who also made reservations but weren’t seated. This ranged from people who booked at 20-20:45. Granted it was Valentine’s Day so it was expected to be busy, however I did think they overbooked for the amount of tables they actually had. We were seated after 30mins and one of the waiters did take a while to get our order and kept forgetting what drinks we had ordered etc, so getting things going in the beginning was very slow. However, the manager did apologise and take time to explain the situation, I just wish it was a bit quicker and a bit less of a stressful environment. I would come back here again, but possibly not on a ‘holiday’ day. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £40–50 Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Naan
