What NormanW likes about The Jolly Tanners:
A great little counrty pub with a lovely outdoor seating area. Family and dog friendly in a very welcoming local pub located just off the village cricket pitch. Good range of menu options served in a warm and friendly manner. All food freshly and individually prepared so be prepared for a reasonably laid back experience. Very popular Sunday evening with several large tables of local people eating. View all feedback. What SueW doesn't like about The Jolly Tanners:
Very nice and friendly staff but not a great deal of food options. The lamb on the roast dinner was a bit tough. Not a lot of seafood in the risotto. But cosy and comfortable pub.,in a nice setting. View all feedback.

read moreThe Jolly Tanners offers a cosy and comfortable pub setting with friendly staff. While some dishes like the roast lamb and seafood risotto fell short, there were highlights such as the delicious roast beef. Service seemed to vary from unwelcoming and slow to warm and efficient. The atmosphere was praised, with plans for renovations in the future. However, the bustling vibe and delicious food earned a top rating. Overall, it's a welcoming spot to enjoy a meal, especially on Sundays, with some areas to improve in terms of service and consistency.
