Very conveniently located when you need a break from shopping at the markets and outlet shops downstairs, or for a meal before a show at what most Sydneysiders still call the Entertainment Centre, it's hard to go this place for a tasty, fast and reasonably priced meal. Located at the southern end of town, this Chinese restaurant offers quality food for both dining in at their food court or for takeout. It is the sister restaurant to Top Choice Sizzling at Paddy's, which is considered better. The service is good, with a wide range of dishes available. The average price for a sizzling dish with a bowl of rice and soup is $10. Some of my favorites include the salt and pepper chicken and sweet and sour pork. Overall, I enjoyed the food, service, value, and selection at this restaurant.
Top Choice Sizzling Hot Pot is one of the best places in Sydney to get sizzling food and hot pot meals. I am not a big fan of hot pot, but my wife really enjoys it. However, I fell in love with their sizzling dishes, such as their seafood Szechuan sizzling and their beef or chicken sizzling.
My favorite restaurant in China Town is Kang Kong Chicken. The dish with rice and soup is delicious.
Don’t cross out food courts for restaurants in Chinatown, Sydney. Look out for the Sussex Centre at Sussex Street, Haymarket. A number of outlets to choose from. All looked good but I kept returning to Good Choice Sizzling Hotpot because Looked and...could see the freshness, The smell was oozing eat me The price was exceptional for the size of the meal. My family weren’t disappointed. We got the Mongolian lamb, the Salt Pepper Squid, Mixed Vegetables Ginger Chicken dishes. All were delicious. I thanked the lady for the wonderful dishes told her I’d be returning. DEFINITELY A GOOD CHOICE!!!!
