What Úlfdís Þorkells doesn't like about Oriental Dumpling King:
Their display picture looked so appetising, i had to grab it and for $9, it was one of the cheapest options in Eating World food court. When it came out, i was gutted. It looked nothing like the picture, and really needed more rice noodles. With the self added soy sauce, it wasn't too bad. Good onions and greens. Noodles were still a bit hard. Probably best to stick to their dumplings. View all feedback.
No frills foodcourt offer. Came on Sunday looking for some congee, they were really backed up with orders so took almost 20mins wait. The fish congee had a good amount of fish fillet in it and for less than $10 can't complaint. The Chinese donut was good too.
In the Harbour Plaza food court (which I had never been to before so it was a discovery!) right next to the entrance is Oriental Dumpling King. Looks pretty authentic with a variety of dumplings and noodles. My friend ordered the spicy dumpling noodle soup and said it was tasty. They charge you for takeaway containers which I find a lot of Asian places do. I tried the flower dumplings and they were pretty cute. Thought it would be one type, but actually had two different veg dumplings, which was quite nice. Price was reasonable, although one can definitely eat more than 10 dumplings. Next time I will probably go back and get the 16 dumplings for the same price. Not as pretty, no, but at least it will be more filling!
There are two Oriental Dumpling King in Chinatown, one is in Dixon food court, and this one is in Harbour Plaza Food court. Ordered #Quick Fried Shallot Beef Rice# $9 is OK, food was hot but rice was cold. And another time I ordered #Stewed chicken with Capsicum on Rice# $9.8, no green pepper in my dish! The picture looks nice but the actual dish was bad. The chicken tastes like it was made very long time ago.

Wonton in red chilli oil is a must try dish. Absolutely delicious! Prawn dumplings (Ha Gao) on the other hand is over priced and not worth it.
