I had the ice-cold laugh and that was good, one of the better I had overall. it was quiet, although it was likely at midday because there was no hot meal available. the interieur is beautiful and spacious with an upper sitting area, which looks over the wide floor level. the personal was friendly.

The menu can be moderate, but lamitte cafe is a practical stop for a quick coffee and free WI-FI between shows – 2 of 5. most people go to haymarket for two rea... read more The menu can be moderate, but lamitte cafe is a practical stop for a quick coffee and free WI-FI between shows – 2 of 5. most people go to haymarket for two reasons – catch a show in the capitol theatre or visit china town and Paddy’s markets. for me it is often to go to the theatre, as I am a massive musical nut. in this year I caught a performance of swan lake that was seen from the Australian ballet, as well as otherrew lloyd webbers cats that I saw for the first time a few weeks ago. at both locations I was looking for a quick bit before the show; a bit more satisfying than a little malteser and pringles from the candy bar in the theater. I also tried the great breakfast and French toast and they were delicious, fast and hot.
