On the way through for a day trip and an early start. we have stopped for breakfast. they have 4-5 choices for breakfast, breakfast sandwiches/wraps or full bre... read more On the way through for a day trip and an early start. we have stopped for breakfast. they have 4-5 choices for breakfast, breakfast sandwiches/wraps or full breakfast. the prizes were amazing how the food was! hubby ordered an egg with homemade toast (served... with homemade jam! for $4.75 I ordered a touch, with speck and the homemade toast/yama for $6.75 both orderings were perfect and delicious cooked. the homemade brot for toast with their choice of homemade jam? - the journey alone worthy! remember. they open around 0530 every day. but are closed on Sunday. breakfast is served until 11 o'clock.

The restaurant offers lunches such as sandwiches, cakes and coffee/tea. the service is fast and friendly. the real attraction for us is the very lively and popu... read more The restaurant offers lunches such as sandwiches, cakes and coffee/tea. the service is fast and friendly. the real attraction for us is the very lively and popular bakery, which is attached to the restaurant of the sourdough bakery. they make excellent product and you... really can not go wrong with one of what is in the offer. there are delicious brote, fresh muffins and all kinds of desert items. lots of parking space in front. it is very popular with locals, especially on a Saturday morning. they're worth the stop if they want some great muffins.

The chicken salad sandwiches were excellent, full of flavor and made with 'real ' chicken...on homemade bread. The coffee was smooth and hot. As others have stated,...the Windmill Cafe is attached to the Sourdough bakery. You place your order in the bakery section which gives you a chance to pick your dessert options too! The muffins, pies, tarts, doughnuts are all beautifully prepared and made fresh daily. Will definitely return to eat in or pick up a sandwich for a picnic.

The restaurant offers light lunch items (sandwiches, pie, coffee) and the attached bakery offers freshly baked goods all of which are excellent. The bread is made on site and they have quite a few varieties. The...pastries are all excellent and the doughnuts are some of the best anywhere. Very good assortment of muffins. They are a touch on the expensive side but worth it.
