Stopped at Vicki's tonight for supper. Had a craving for Scallops but sadly they were out so had their special, Haddock Tips, also a favourite of mine. The plate was heaping with lots of fish, nice and lightly breaded over a bed of fries. Let's just say I couldn't finish my plate, and not because I didn't like it. I simply had no room left. We visited this restaurant for lunch and were seated in a back room that seemed to be used for storage, emitting a strong musty smell. We requested to be moved to another area but our request was denied, which was quite surprising. The server was abrupt and could benefit from additional customer service training. Met a couple of old friends for supperThe menu has some interesting items and plenty of variety.
We stopped to have fish and chips because Trip Advisor reviews were so strong. When asked the waitress what we were to expect of the fish and chips, she stated "The BEST in the country!" She was confident and proud. She had every reason to be like this. The was breaded and not coated with the traditional puffy batter. Fish was delicious! The root beer ice cream floats were no slouch either!
