The Pineapple Curry chicken wings are absolutely delicious and I love them.

I didn... read more I stopped at The Root in Coldbrook for supper last night. I wasn't really in the mood for anything specific and ended up ordering the Beef Dip and Fries. I didn't leave hungry! The portion was quite ample with a good size sandwich and plenty of fries. They make their beef dip with sauce and melted cheese right in the sandwich instead of just dipping in the sauce. The sauce itself was more like a gravy than an 'au jus' - it was good, just thicker than most I've had. As a result, I had to eat the sandwich using a knife and fork. First time I ever had to do that, although that might not have been a bad thing if you've ever seen me eat. I'd go back!

Have ordered lunch salads, sandwiches, but was re... read more Been here a few times over the last two years for lunches. The food is consistent and there is a nice variety. Have ordered lunch salads, sandwiches, but was really surprised with the Meat Pizza on my last visit. Crispy crust which I like (some might not), generous toppings on the pizza. It has been quiet every lunch visit.
