The food is perfectly seasoned, the staff is excellent, and the portion sizes are generous as well.
Everything here looks good. The fried catfish, shrimp pistolettes, crawfish pistolettes, and cracklins are outstanding. This is not a fancy place but the food makes it worth a stop.
I've been several times now, and crawfish and shrimp are always perfectly seasoned and boiled. we love KB's! of you are looking for a place to go, you won't regret it!
The boiled crawfish are stunning and incredibly tasty! The boiled shrimp are excellent as well!
I drive 20 miles about once a week and usually order the same meal: one enormous piece of catfish (the best around), one fried pork chop (the best in the parish), and three potato wedges (I prefer them unbattered). Everything is delicious, especially when paired with lemonade. They also have excellent cracklins (not overly seasoned) and fantastic sausage to take home. The staff is consistently cheerful and helpful, and the customers often add a colorful flair that amuses me.
