We had visited several times for happy hour and received outstanding cocktails and service.Unfortunately the restaurant was a bit of a let down. The service was acceptable for being newly opened. The staff struggled with finding specific wines in the wine fridge and was a bit slow on taking orders and following up after the meal was served. I’m sure all of these issues will improve with time and training.We both had the chicken salads. I had the Cesar and spouse had the BBQ ranch salad . The lettuce and vegetables were fresh however the were extremely small in volume. They were sized more like side not a meal. If we had a total of 1.5 ounces of chicken per salad we were lucky. The salad both were missing listed condiments.We were expecting that a $18.00 per salad would have 4 ounces of chicken and bigger serving of lettuce per salad. Hopefully this will change with time.We may return and try the hamburgers. It seemed most of the customers were ordering the hamburgers and fries

The food was expertly prepared, beautifully plated, and graciously served. My wife and I spent careers in artistic fields, so appreciate the art of fine food. I know how to prepare salmon, and thought for the last 20 years I could take on any chef in town in a salmon contest. I've met my match with this chef. None of Hagone's chefs can do better. On the concerned side, we felt a bit rushed. There was little time between drink and and appetizer, and even less from that to entree. Slow down, guys! Also, we wondered where the dessert menu was?? Maybe on the to do list.....In any case, we will return. Our little cow town of Hayden, ID has grown up and this restaurant swims with the big fish. PS it would have been nice for the live music on the outside service area to pipe into the bar and dining rooms.

The atmosphere is very trendy and spacious, great for any occasion or time of day. Our server, Kim, was very attentive and helpful with recommendations.Bonus, their cocktail menu is amazing, and they can turn many of their drinks into mocktails!

Looking forward to dining here!10/1/23 Update: Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious! We shared fried squash for starters. The dinners were Chicken Madeira and Pork Tenderloin which were both perfectly prepared. For dessert, try the strawberry shortcake, it is the most delectable I’ve ever had!
