CVue Cafe Palm Cove - Haycock Island

How very embarrassing for our friends! We were on a rare and special visit to Cairns. Our, (local) friends chose one of their favourite venues for our coffee and breakfast. Both the coffee and food were great BUT service was execrable. A brusque and unsmiling waitress not only treated us disdainfully but made two errors in our straightforward order. What a shame. We did inform management. Sad.

We had a lovely lunch, $17.50 for fish, chips and a corona. The fish was just amazing. Great food and Great service.

This was our third (or 4th) visit. It is one of our favourites. We love the Barramundi. it was perfectly cooked and as usual beautifully presented. The view of the sea through the palm trees is great too.

We have been there twice, both times where great, high quality Food- with great flavour We both love the food & scenery overlooking the ocean. Highly recommend this Cafe/ Restaurant & Art Gallery.

We are Northern Beaches locals and CVue café was always going to be our choice to take friends visiting from NSW and ACT for lunch on a rather windy Wednesday. We found a fabulous table for four just inside the more sheltered area that still gave our guests a great view of Palm Cove and school children on the beach enjoying their last few days of term. The menu is fabulous and you can choose from an All Day Breakfast menu and lunch menu. Service was excellent with our orders taken promptly as was the delivery of our drinks. My soy latte was yum. Our food choices were unanimously declared delicious. We can't recommend highly enough.
