Rustic cafe, no vegan menu but they are happy to modify menu items. falafel burger was geat came with sweets potato fries.
The chef’s daughter is vegan so he really tries to delight vegans with the food and it was so tasty.
This was a bit disappointing as I was initially excited by the menu. Portions are big however the food is nothing that you couldn’t fix up yourself. The server was the most entertaining feature of the night. She mixed up a few things but recovered it all with her sense of humour. A lot of the menu needs tweaking to make vegan. Update. What a difference a week makes. Really enjoyed the dinner- explained to the lovely server Christina about vegan and all food was adjusted to be vegan. Updated from previous review on 2022-02-10
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal here. I agree that its a bit pricey, but the meals are a good size. Now one of my favourite cafes in Cairns, just as Clifton Beach is one of my favourite beaches. A nice setting too.
Great setting and nice staff. There were vegan options for small plates and main meals. The food was great, but a tad overpriced and had to send a dish back as it had prawns on it!
