The cocktails were a hit, especially the spicy margarita. The serving sizes were good, and the staff provided excellent hospitality and accommodated dietary restrictions. Prices were a bit higher, but the warm ambiance made it worth it. Some mentioned not finding enough vegetarian options, but the breakfast offerings were praised. While not all reviews were glowing, many enjoyed the complex flavors and great service, with highlights including the lamb dish and the beachside dining experience. Overall, NuNu offers a memorable dining experience with beautiful views and delicious food.
Amazing separate vegan menu, quite expensive, but worth it. very tasty, with very beautiful look and vibe
I cannot agree with the comments in the list. there are no vegetarian or vegan dishes on the lunch/ dinner menu. there are some beside courts that they suggest, but these are not filling out or substantial enough to be a meal. they are very unhelpful other options. we ate there 3 times to dinner (with a series of vegans in our party) and each time we were told, they would offer us new options if we were next just to find on the rides that they would not offer us. the staff there told us that they have tried to convince the cook for a because, vegan / vegetarian options, but he will not knock on it. eating is very good here, so it's a pity. The hotcakes are excellent for breakfast (the best we ever had, but not for vegetarian vegans) and the bircher muesli is suitable for vegans and is also really good.
The breakfast is very affordable (especially in comparison to lunch and dinner with many vegan options (not marked, ask the staff) or the possibility to build their own breakfast if they prefer it. beautiful friendly staff and a perfect view of the beach!
We were very recommended, but ultimately a little disappointing
We booked at NuNu in advanced and made sure we highlighted our dietary requirements in the notes! We called to make sure being vegan wasn’t a problem since we noticed there were no options on their menu online. We were told just to ask for the vegan menu and we got all excited but we wanted to go to NuNu for a long time, before joining the vegan community! The location is amazing and the staff is very friendly and helpful. We were a bit disappointed though when we realized that our vegan “menu” was just a modification by elimination of ingredients of non-vegan dishes. I mean, don’t get me wrong, I understand it’s not part of their concept, but I believe they should have offered at least a protein substitute especially considering we called in advance too! We had their sourdough bread with grilled lemon, a betel leaf with raw grated veggies and peanut and papaya relish then we had to move to the sides section for our mains but it was quite alright since they offered us some rice to have with the Sichuan eggplant and yellow bean paste! This dish was probably my favorite! Then we added some fried zucchini with black vinegar caramel. We were happy overall, just not quite satisfied. We still decided to give the dessert a go. They modified the roast pineapple substituting the coconut sorbet (that contained milk powder) with a passion fruit sorbet! It came out a bit too acidic, but was definitely refreshing!
