Ok, the place is clean, but it's right out of the 1980's decor wise. It's redeeming quality is the food and wait staff. Had the Wor Wonton (outstanding), deep fried squid rings (rings were very good, dip was a little sad), and my dining partner had some western Chinese combo platter (the ginger beef was very good). What Nicole S doesn't like about Woodland Wok Grill:
Beware of your bill when they ring it up, they will over charge and inflate the price, especially for elders. My moms bill was 55.00 and they added an extra 10.00 thinking she wasn't going to notice. God knows who else they've been ripping off. View all feedback.

I loved this place.....Laid back and very relaxing. We used to come here after escaping from the mine... The family were terrific and always treated us like family. The food was always excellent and authentic...and 'Woodland ' pizza was always the Number one choice for Sunday Football!
The service was great very nice people the food was amazing of all 1 out of 10
Yummm. I think they have the best pizza in town! I always get ham and bacon, yummmm
Diner Food/Friendly staff. The Woodland Wok and Grill has quickly become my favorite place to eat in High Level. The chicken wings are great. The spicy chicken sandwich is delightful. My husband loves the fish and chips and pizza. I can't believe it because I don't think pizza is their specialty. The menu includes Asian foods as the owners are from Laos. I have never had their Asian meals, but have seen plenty of people ordering them. <br/ <br/ The ambiance is average, by that I mean that a fortune didn't go into decorating it. It is a basic diner experience, as far as decor goes. There are two tv's that are usually have food centric shows...except during the Olympics <br/ : <br/ <br/ The food is good and the owners are better. They always make us feel welcome and in no time learned our favorite dishes and drinks. The prices are average for the NWT, where everything costs a bit more.
