I really enjoyed my meal at this restaurant. I had the white fish almondine. I believe the fish came from Great Salve Lake. There was a good amount of it, so I did not go hungry. This restaurant came highly recommended. It was just ok. My fish was a little on the dry side. The bartender was professional and tried to be attentive (we ate at the bar) but he was stretched pretty thin. He does everything in that place except cook! He even sang happy birthday to another customer and brought them a piece of cake! It wasn't great overall just pretty average. View all feedback.
Had a spicy burger which was typical pub food, but the stand out was the real hamburger patty, not food service food which was nice. Had onion rings which were just barely cooked which was too bad because there had that really good breading, just needed another two minutes in the deep fryerConsidering we walked in with 8 people in our party at lunch, I was impressed how quickly things came out. The bathrooms have been recently renovated are palatial, unlike the bar proper which has a 1980's nautical theme.Overall good food, great service.
Use to be 4 star but since the new owners it’s a 3 star, last I was there the ribeye was like leather but they do have lots of classics from the previous owner.
The food is delicious. And the service was wonderful... thumbs up!
Waited for our drinks for 20 minutes and our order for an hour. Ended up getting our order to go since we waited so long. Get to our room only to see the ribs that we waited an hour for are coated in a cheap ketchup bbq sauce. What a waste of time and money. Never again ?If I could I would rate this 0 stars. Lol.
Went for wings night, and they changed the wings. I had the scorching hot, and they were really good. Our table shared appetizers, so we had a little of a lot, and it was all good. If you are visiting Hay River, stop in and check out the Back Eddy.Food: 4/5
