Ptarmigan Inn - Hay River

Ac doesn't work. they called the recipe and they couldn't fix anything here. I asked for a fan and got nothing. had to build with heat while trying to get after the payment 250$ for one night only bad for a hot day working the next day. I would recommend sleeping in the middle of the road, hoping to drive from a truck here instead of roasted in much on this place.

We were two nights in ptarmigan hoard. we were disappointed when we arrived, we were not greeted when we came in. also the bill gave a higher order of what was booked (thanks to the recipe made the right changes) the room and the bed sheets looked old (and not super clean, although the bathroom looked as if it was renovated, it was badly done (the bathroom was cloned, the water tap was loose and not much water came out of it) also the restaurant looked nice at first place okner but it was expensive.

We stayed in a room on the second floor with a kitchenette. Despite being located near the lobby, there was minimal noise from other guests. The room had a queen size bed, a single bed, and a hidden couch. There was also a lounge chair, a table with two chairs, and a writing desk. The kitchen was spacious but had an older setup with a one-sided sink and refrigerator. Some of the cabinet doors were partially melted from the heat of the stove, making it difficult to figure out which one worked, but we were able to manage. The bed was very comfortable and we had a good night's sleep. Our only complaint was that there was no dining area, so we had to eat standing up in the narrow space between the kitchen and living area. The location was convenient, with a convenience store nearby as well as a pub and a bank in the building.

The hotel is showing signs of aging. Examples include worn and stained carpet, holes in the blackout curtains, and a sagging mattress, among other issues. There are also limited amenities such as no ice bucket, no drinking glasses, only two paper cups provided, and hand towels for only one guest. The prices are not competitive.
