Tomboy's - Hawthorne

We visited Tomboys to try their chili dogs but ended up having breakfast instead. The food was delicious; the French toast and pancakes tasted homemade. The hash browns were nice and crispy. Overall, it was a fantastic breakfast experience!

We decided to have breakfast here since our hotel across the street didn't offer anything satisfactory. The place was fairly quiet at 9 AM, but it quickly filled up with more customers. The menu is impressively diverse, featuring a wide range of great options. Our food came out quickly and was expertly prepared. Our group of six ordered various breakfast items, and each one was delicious. The staff was friendly and attentive.

I recently relocated to this area and was searching for a restaurant that serves a fantastic pastrami burger. I was pleasantly surprised! The food was fresh, the fries were served hot, and the pastrami was delicious—perfectly portioned and lean without being greasy. I’m eager to explore more items from the menu!

We ordered the Chorizo scramble and home-style potatoes, and they were incredibly tasty. Unlike the usual weekday routine of ordering at the counter, on weekends you can relax in their spacious dining area while the servers come to take your order. They also have a charming patio with umbrellas out front and a convenient drive-thru option. Tomboy's has been at this location for quite some time, boasting well-kept landscaping and a spotless building, along with excellent and friendly service. Their chili is thick, flavorful, and has always been one of my favorites.
