Starbucks - Hawthorne

While we were waiting for our order, we noticed the staff pulling food from the cooler, locking the patio door, and putting chairs up on the tables. That’s when they informed us they were closing—due to COVID-related issues. Is this 2020? It felt like we were in a time machine to the early pandemic days. The employee who was supposed to be monitoring the door apologized, explaining that she was busy cleaning and hadn’t been alerting people as they came in. Everyone seemed genuinely sorry, but my friend and I found ourselves standing outside with our drinks and a bag of food from Starbucks. It felt frustrating to see this level of service and training from Starbucks employees during a "COVID emergency." And now we were left wondering what to do with our food and drinks.

I had an excellent experience at this restaurant! Despite the rush, the service was outstanding, and the staff was very friendly. There are plenty of seating options available. Highly recommended!

The baristas here are fantastic! The one who took my order was incredibly patient and even spoke fluent Spanish to the customers ahead of me. He was truly impressive!

Latte here on the grounds that it was more delectable and more sweet-smelling than some other bistro I've encountered previously.

More beautiful place to start their tomorrow by paying hard earned money to stand around 20 minutes and not even get a drink.
