Piggie's - Hawthorne

I visit this restaurant mainly out of tradition, but I've noticed that the service has declined in recent years. I had to repeat my order to the girl at the register four times, and she still got it wrong. The atmosphere and the restaurant's long-standing history are its redeeming qualities. If I were a first-time customer, I likely wouldn't return.

This restaurant has really declined. I paid $28 for two breakfast burritos, and they wanted to charge an extra $0.60 for some chiles on the side! They have high-end prices but it's just a hole-in-the-wall joint, and the serving sizes have shrunk significantly while the prices remain outrageous. I think I'll be taking my business to Dino's down the street instead.

I ordered the pastrami sandwich, and it was just mediocre. The meat was quite tough, with several chewy fatty bits that didn't get any easier to bite through. Given the price of $11.54, I don't think it's worth it. The sandwich was quite simple, with just the meat, mustard, and pickles.

Dude touched everything, his face, hair, nose?everything but a sink, water, and soap. I was so upset when my burrito was handed off to him to put in a bag for me.

Piggies has always been my families go to place to eat. My go to plate from there is menudo. Always made with excellent flavor and the service there is great. I was there in the morning with my mom and daughter . We had just ordered breakfast but then my daughter started to not feel well so i asked Brendon if it was ok to get our food to go. Everyone there helped make it alot less embarrassing by being so helpful and helping us get what we needed so we can come home,
