Clean venue serving traditional Mexican style seafood favorites. NOTE: The Horchata, Tamarindo Jamaica aguas frescas are not fresh; they're made from a syrup. Order the Zandia (watermelon) or Melon (cantaloupe) which are from fresh fruit and are quite refreshing. Good service too. Priced a little high buy portions are VERY generous.Wheelchair accessibility: Possibly. View all feedback.
What Isabel Lòpez doesn't like about El Puerto Escondido:
We ordered the Bucana plate which offers a little bit of everything, imitation crab, ceviche de pescado and the portion was enough to share for two. Most places give you everything on the side to adjust the taste to your liking especially the salt and lemon portion, of course they always offer the spice separate. The seafood was already seasoned and it was way too salty, like very salty, definitely not happy about th... View all feedback.
Apart from the very loud and annoying music this place has really good ceviche and fish tacos. Not much to say other then I recommend it if you’re looking for mariscos.Food: 4/5
Went in for take out, short and muscular guy assisting in the front was extremely rude, and yelled unnecessarily at me. Don’t go to this place if you’re expecting good service.Service: 1/5
My boyfriend ordered a specific plate with shrimp, octopus and cayo de acha. Literally all was onion and cucumber, very little shrimp and no cayo de acha at all. When bringing it up to the server, she said that yes the cook had included the cayo de acha and just said sorry. I believe the server could have had better customer service in giving an alternate option in the order or replacing the meal to meet customer satisfaction. Would not come back here if I could give 0 stars I would.
We ordered the Bucana plate, which includes a variety of items: imitation crab, ceviche de pescado, and the portion was substantial enough to share between two people. Unlike most places that serve the condiments separately so you can adjust the flavor to your preference, including salt and lemon—along with spice on the side—this restaurant pre-seasoned the seafood. Unfortunately, it was overly salty, which was disappointing. Additionally, they impose a $2.00 fee for card transactions.
The waitress Dianna is the best professional and sweet great service.Food: 5/5
