My partner and I went in this pub after visiting the windmill (a real windmill) on the road. we thought we'd get in for a drink before we leave on the Dusky pat... read more My partner and I went in this pub after visiting the windmill (a real windmill) on the road. we thought we'd get in for a drink before we leave on the Dusky path. but we were happy in the pub and were for a few...more drinks. the service was charming and very friendly and the interior was very cozy and comfortable. Although we did not eat there, as we had not eaten long, we have penetrated the menu and as a vegan himself noticed, they had some interesting vegan options. So we will rehearse one or two of these options. a nice night out.

Lied and said the kitchen was closed at 8 because of a 2 hours waiting, but no eating came out of the kitchen after 8.49... someone else on our table ordered ea... read more Lied and said the kitchen was closed at 8 because of a 2 hours waiting, but no eating came out of the kitchen after 8.49... someone else on our table ordered eating 20 minutes before me and eating there took only 40 minutes we visit your...Pub every week and are a table of 6 on the quiz that spend a fair bit of money in their pub every week. lying their customers is bad for the business and it means now after a long day at work we had to go without dinner. So thank you! No warning, what ever, they just close the kitchen when they fail and expect their customers to know. Maybe they get more employees when they wait for a 2 hour meal before the quiz even starts - was not even a full pub! Next week I will make sure that I eat before I come, as they will not get my money for food after they lied to me.

Nice relaxed atmosphere for Sunday lunch. Pie is great and staff friendly with good service.
