Wh... read more I recently ordered takeout from this restaurant, and it was absolutely disgusting. I decided to leave a review here and on Just Eat, where I placed my order. When we opened the food, it had a strong odor of old oil. The grilled dumplings were thick and rubbery, with a filling that seemed and smelled like poor quality dog food. Everything was greasy and dark in color. The chili squid was dry and rubbery, while the chicken with ginger spring onion had a layer of oil on top and looked unappetizing. The curry sauce was the only decent part, but the chicken in it was rubbery. Even the rice was overcooked. We ended up throwing most of the food away because it was so bad. I had to take out the trash right away because it stank up the house. Overall, it was a complete waste of £50. I highly recommend never eating here.

This is our favorite Chinese restaurant, even compared to restaurants in London's China Town. Perhaps they have a new chef? The food was all delicious and the service was great, as usual. I recommend asking for the traditional menu and trying something different, such as the salt chili ribs, beef or lamb brisket hotpot, dry beef ho-fun, or spicy pork and aubergine hotpot.

We opted for the set m... read more During our visit to Romford, we stumbled upon this restaurant and decided to give it a try. Luckily, they had one table available for us. We opted for the set meal for two, which was a fantastic value with a generous amount of food. The meal included a starter platter, crispy duck, three main dishes, and rice. Although we could have chosen ice cream and coffee for dessert, we decided to pass. The service was excellent, and the food was served hot and tasted delicious.

The starters all ca... read more I must admit that I was quite disappointed we ordered the set meal for three of us and the other two people in our group ordered separately. The starters all came up separately so we did not all get to eat together. As for the main meal I had to go and ask if we could have all the dishes together, however the waiter was quite rude. We were that disappointed that we could not be bothered with the desert that we had paid for. Overall the food was only average, but the service was poor if I was being kind. Would I go back NO Would I recommend it NO Was it value NO (because of the service) I am a big believer of if you receive a good service you should let people know as you should if you receive a bad service, in this case it was the waiter that changed it from not that good to a bad one.

Looking forward to trying different dishes on our next visit
