Get fed up of being charged 6 quid for a branded coffee in the coffee places locally. So now I prefer going to marks and getting a decent large Americano for under 3 quid. They do lovely sandwiches or soups with a roll too. I had tomato and basil with a gf roll. Lovely chunks of tomatoe. Great taste Delish! Husband had 6 quarter sandwiches which he said were lovely. That and 2 coffees were less than 13 pounds. And I... View all feedback.
What Toheem doesn't like about Marks And Spencer Cafe:
The service at this restaurant was friendly, quick, and efficient. The tea was nice and served in a pot, which was very good. However, the toasties were very poor. They were already made and placed in a cabinet, then passed over to be presumably finished in the toaster. Unfortunately, the end result was disappointing as it seemed like they were just heated up in the microwave. There was no evidence of toasting on the... View all feedback.
Ignoring customer complaints concerning the type of bread served as toast sourdough bread it’s hard cut crust to hard with blunt knives given!?
I have dined at this restaurant for the past few weeks while visiting Romford with my family. All tables are socially distanced, and the staff has been incredibly friendly and helpful. The food is consistently delicious, especially with the government's Eat Out to Help Out scheme making prices very affordable. We plan to continue dining here even after the promotion ends, as the food is great and the staff are always welcoming and accommodating.

I often go to this cafe with elderly family members when we visit Romford as they like to go here. Today it was very busy in there and to be honest they could go with more seating room in the cafe. You do deserve like you are far too close to other tables. It was very busy in there today, we were lucky as we managed to get a table, which we had to clear ourselves, but most people who were getting food would have found it hard to find an empty table. They should look at how many customers they have and if they are packed then they should turn people away as it’s not fair if people buy food and drinks but have no where to sit. Food and drink have always been nice in there, staff seem very friendly, but I always have to ask for more butter to go with our toasted tea cakes!
I recently visited this cafe with my mum, who frequents this cafe with her friends. The service was quick and friendly, and the toasted tea cake I ordered was delicious, bursting with fruit flavor. The coffee was good and the tea was served in a traditional white teapot with a matching cup and saucer. Despite being busy, the cafe had plenty of tables and chairs, and the staff cleared tables promptly. My mum has enjoyed afternoon tea here and highly recommend it. I will definitely be returning and encourage other shoppers to visit. The cafe is located on the first floor, accessible by escalator or lift in the shop.
