Description

Thank you for your interest in booking an afternoon tea at Tea Island. Our Afternoon Tea is priced at £20.95 per person and showcases traditionally British delights. You’ll enjoy thinly sliced finger sandwiches (two full sandwiches per person) with fillings such as cucumber, mature cheddar cheese, tuna, egg mayo, cured ham, and chicken salad—wraps are available on request. Freshly baked scones come with Tiptree strawberry jam and clotted cream, all served elegantly on tiered stands. Our patisserie selection offers a tempting range of mini desserts to complete your experience. To accompany your treat, choose from our English Breakfast tea, Earl Grey, or instant coffee, with specialty teas and coffee available at an additional cost. We are fully licensed and boast a great selection of wines, beers, spirits, and the finest Prosecco in Essex. On Saturdays, our traditional British afternoon tea is served at set times: 11:30 am to 2:00 pm and 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm. For tables of four or more, a 10% optional service charge will be added. To secure your booking, a £10 deposit per person is required, payable by cash or bank transfer. Please note deposits are strictly non-refundable. Our bank details are: Tea Island At Home Ltd Account: 07760521 Sort Code: 08-71-99 Remember to use your full name as reference and send a confirmation text once payment is made. Please be aware due to the size of our shop, we are unable to offer gluten-free or vegan options. All dietary requirements and allergies must be communicated at booking, as we cannot alter our menu afterwards. Additionally, all our cakes may have come into contact with nuts during baking and storage. We regret that pushchairs and highchairs cannot be accommodated on Saturdays unless the shop is privately hired. If you plan to bring decorations, please let us know in advance—confetti is not permitted due to health and safety regulations. To speed up group visits, please try to pay as a whole rather than separately. Only food and drinks purchased at Tea Island are allowed on the premises. Thank you for your understanding and support. Linda xx.
