The food was prepared quickly, of excellent quality, and the staff were incredibly friendly. You can choose to dine in or take away. While we haven't dined in yet, the atmosphere appears lovely. Upon collecting our order, I was greeted by welcoming staff who offered me a seat and a drink while I waited. The only minor drawback we noticed was that the curries had less meat than we’ve experienced at other places; however, this did not deter us from coming back, as the quality more than compensates for it. The food tasted amazing and was piping hot when we got home. There's also plenty of parking available.

The food was beautiful... read more We visited the Sunar Gow today to celebrate my sons birthday. We had poppadoms, 3 starters, 3 mains, 3 rice and 2 naan breads. Just wow! The food was beautiful and well presented. The atmosphere is lovely with blossom trees over the ceiling and atmospheric lighting. The staff couldn't do enough for us. With is being a Tuesday it was very quiet in the restaurant but they were busy with takeaways! We took our own alcohol with us and they were quick to bring me a wine bucket for the bottle to stay chilled and pint glasses for the boys. Our meal cost just over £80 which I feel is great value for money. We would highly recommend this restaurant and will absolutely be visiting again! We knew they didn’t serve alcohol so we took a few of our own bottles of beer for which they provided glasses and an ice bucket. The decor was stunning, very modern and exceptionally clean. Very welcoming atmosphere right from the start. Service was brilliant the staff were so friendly and very accommodating. They ensured our pickle tray was always full and took away our empty beer bottles promptly. The food. Wow! We had poppadoms, onion bhaji, chicken 65 (this was incredible), chicken tikka masala for sharing, pilau rice, chips and a nann bread. Everything was perfect, so delicious. They taste was spot on, just the right amount of spice to the dishes and they were presented beautifully. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. We will absolutely be going back and telling all of our friends about it. If you went a delicious Indian in a fantastic atmosphere this is the place for you!
